Industrial Monuments Route is a regional tourist route which is a part of a wider European network of postindustrial monuments. It comprises 36 facilities scattered around the south of Poland that are visited by more than half a million of people each year. Among typical heavy industry examples like coal and silver mines, power plants and factories you can also visit museums of brewing, printing, pottery as well as traditional working class settlement areas, art galleries located in postindustrial buildings, radiostation, railways and so on.
